1. Overview
Court Squad is a free mobile app for recreational USTA tennis teams. We help captains and players manage schedules, availability, lineups, match results, standings, and team communication. We do not sell personal information, we do not run ads, and there are no purchases or donations of any kind.
2. Information We Collect
- Waitlist information: name, email, optional phone number, and whether you are a captain.
- Account information: name, email address, optional phone number, and one-time passcode sign-in details.
- Team information: team memberships, captain or player role, availability responses, lineup positions, match results, NTRP ratings, season standings, and roster details.
- Content you provide: messages, announcements, poll responses, and other team communication.
- Device and usage information needed to deliver push notifications, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and keep the app reliable.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate Court Squad, authenticate users, connect players to teams, show schedules and lineups, record availability and results, support announcements, polls, and messages, deliver push notifications, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and contact waitlist members when the app opens.
4. How We Share Information
Team-related information is shared with the captains and players on the relevant team so the app can function. We use Supabase for managed database, authentication, and related backend services, and platform notification services for push notifications. We may also share information when required by law, to protect Court Squad or users, or with your direction. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Third-Party Data
When a captain connects a team, Court Squad imports data from third-party league systems — such as season schedules, rosters, player ratings, and past results — so the team does not have to re-enter it. That data originates from the third-party source, and its accuracy depends on that source. Court Squad is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league or governing body whose data may be imported.
6. Your Choices & Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data in the app under “Account & privacy” or by emailing support@courtsquad.yeos.me. You can also manage push notifications through your device settings. We will respond to privacy requests consistent with applicable U.S. privacy laws.
7. Retention & Security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Court Squad, maintain team records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use service providers such as Supabase to store and process data and apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
